  • Honda CBR400 – Gary Lau (NSW)
    • It is currently a track bike so not prepped for racing as yet (all it really needs is the lock wiring). I had intentions to race it for the past two years but I can see that's not going to happen for financial reasons. I am selling it and getting back into karting, so I would consider a swap. The suspension has 600rr internals in the front and a F4i in the rear, done by zenodamper. The radiator is larger from the CBR900. It has a roo pipe slip on (which sounds nicer at best). Engine is standard and produces 61.11hp (run @ 24.47 deg .. humidity 36%) obviously specs from a dyno run. So with the right mods its bound to produce a lot more. It was originally a road bike for many years however someone decided to do a U turn infront of my friend hence its a trackbike now. It was taken to Laurie Alderton to straighten .. however there was not much to straighten up as he said it wasn't too bad. The tank had a big dent and I repaired it with putty .. however its a really sad job cause .. we'll im just not good at it. It comes with tyre warmers and stands. All it really needs is a new set of tires and its ready to go. Im asking $4500 for it. I had brought the bike with front fairing damage due to a front end slide on the road, ive replaced the damaged parts except for the left lower fork boot which I have the replacement for.     • I am selling the CBR 400 I purchased of Phil Bourke a little while ago. The suspension has been redone though I have no idea what Phil & Ben actually did, Harley has done some work to the electrics & fitted a quick action throttle, new chain (RK 520) & sprockets (14t & 15t front, 40t rear), braided brake lines, new brake discs & pads on the front, then dynoed & tuned it. Output was a healthy 60.1 Hp. Been timed at 1.47's at EC, 1.18's at Oran Park GP, 1.07's at Wakefield though this was at track days when the traffic isn't the best so the bike goes well. The Bridgestone slicks have only done 2 trackdays so about 60% were left front & rear. I can supply photos if people want though it is nothing flash to look at.
